As Pipe Tally/Material QC Inspector, you will oversee the implementation of the Pipe Tracking System (PTS) and verify that all generated records strictly adhere to project requirements. You will execute rigorous Quality Control (QC) inspections of materials at the contractor’s logistics base to ensure total compliance. You will also manage and collect project quality documentation in strict accordance with Quality Control Plans (QCP) and Inspection Test Plans (ITP).
How can you support us? Here below are your responsibilities:
- Verify that correct hardware availability, set up, and functional status before offshore operations start up.
- Ensure that prior to offshore/marshalling yard PTS set up are in line with Project requirements.
- Operate PTS during Load out activities ashore within Corporate and Project Applicable Guidelines.
- Identify Non-Conforming Pipes and ensure correct segregation actions as well as rejection as applicable.
- Collect QC Inspection Records information/results to be entered into PTS in line with applicable Project PTS Procedure.
- Prepare PTS Print out records, ensure correct data input has been cleared and in order to make relevant records available for Client approval as per established frequency.
- Ensure that Surplus/Damaged/Rejected Pipes Return activities is carried out within schedule procedures/work instructions.
- Ensure correct pipes reconciliation figures as per above scheme.
- In accordance with the Quality Control Plan, execute the specific inspections on material and equipment at the logistics base, issuing the relevant Quality Records.
- Check that material and equipment are correctly received, stored, preserved and handled at contractor’s logistics base.
- Check that materials are correctly identified and traceable.
- Carry out the visual checks on the materials delivered to the logistics base, verifying the integrity of the supply and the correct marking of the items.
- Issue the relevant Inspection Material Reports and/or Receiving Inspection Reports, Non-Conformity Reports.
What are we looking for?
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in quality management and reporting for conductive materials.
- Inventory Integrity: Proven expertise in the strategic storage and long-term preservation of sensitive materials.
- Technical Skills: Advanced computer literacy with a focus on data management and analytical reporting.
