As the ROV Workshop Lead Electrical Technician, you will be part of the ROV Asset department. You will be responsible for leading all electrical maintenance activities on Saipem ROV and equipment systems (ROV, TMS, Winch, HPU, A-Frame, etc.) in accordance with company procedures and direction of the Workshop Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all electrical activities carried out in the workshop as required by the workshop manager.
  • Carry out electrical maintenance on Saipem ROV and equipment systems (ROV, TMS, Winch, HPU, A-Frame, etc.) in accordance with company procedures and direction of the workshop manager.
  • Carry out maintenance, repair, and upgrade activities related to the workshop electrical systems.
  • Re‑wire electrical panels and junction boxes.
  • Test electrical equipment prior to shipping out to systems, including sliprings, motors, cameras, lights, etc.
  • Assist the Workshop Manager in all maintenance and repair activities to keep the Company’s assets in full operational mode.
  • Familiarise yourself with and maintain awareness of Saipem’s current requirements, procedures, policies, and applicable industry codes and standards.
  • Ensure all activities are performed consistently with Saipem’s health, safety, quality, and environmental policies.
  • Keep working areas clean and tidy.

Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of electrical workshop experience in a similar environment.
  • Industry training in electrical disciplines and time‑served qualifications.
