Ares Management is seeking to hire a Vice President, EMEA Consultant Relations, who is flexible, collaborative, and commercially minded, to be based in our London office. This individual will be responsible for nurturing and developing consultant and OCIO relationships and raising capital for Ares products.

Our global consultant relations team operate as platform generalists, covering the full product suite and work closely with our global relationship management team in a collaborative manner. Primary Functions & Responsibilities:
  • Develop, manage, and deepen long‑term relationships with existing and prospective consultants, OCIO and investors through a consultative, solutions‑oriented approach across all Ares strategies.
  • Work and collaborate with Global Consultant Relations team to manage Consultant outreach.
  • Maintain an ongoing dialogue with consultants, OCIOs and investors to understand investment objectives, portfolio needs, and constraints.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to investors by combining market insight, product knowledge, and a deep understanding of the Ares platform.
  • Cultivate business relationships with the wider community to stay informed on market, industry, peer group, regulatory and product trends.
  • Represent Ares externally at industry conferences, events, and relevant consultant and investor forums, enhancing the Firm’s brand and market presence.
  • Work closely with the EMEA and Global team and other internal stakeholders (investment teams, product, IR, legal, compliance) to stay fully informed on fund performance, market developments, and pipeline activity.
  • Provide structured feedback to internal teams on consultant sentiment, product demand, and evolving market trends.
  • Articulate Ares’ investment philosophy, processes, and platform clearly and credibly.
Education/Certification:
  • Advanced degree or equivalent.
  • Previous role in sales for Asset Management / Alternative Investments firm.
  • Knowledge of alternative investment products such as Real Estate, Credit, Infrastructure, and Private Equity.
  • Network of professional contacts in the consultant and institutional investment community.
  • Ability to travel.
Experience Required:
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving objectives and asset raising.
  • Seasoned professional with high energy, enthusiasm and drive.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
