Job Description
This newly created role on the Talent Development team will expand the team’s reach in EMEA and have responsibilities in our Asia offices. Significant opportunity to embed current programming and processes across the region as well as design and deliver new priorities. The successful candidate should be confident, energetic, creative and passionate. They should thrive in ambiguous situations and enjoy creating and building new processes and programs. They should be able to lead towards a strategic vision and have a high attention to detail and should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and should have experience building strong relationships with leaders at various levels across multiple locations. They should understand best practices in learning and development and be eager to innovate and create a market leading function.
Primary functions & responsibilities
In this newly created role, the Vice President, Talent Development will be responsible for assisting to build a best-in-class talent strategy and function globally. This individual will be expected to develop credibility and strong relationships with business leaders and HRBPs, providing consultation on all talent-related activities. They will need to operate strategically in assessing needs and designing solutions, as well as tactically to create content, execute programs and manage large-scale initiatives. Some areas of focus may include:

Talent Advisory – provide talent development advisory support to investment and international leaders for their business and region. Act as a talent consultant for HR and business leaders.

Management & Leadership Development – managing and facilitating management development programs internationally and supporting the development and delivery of global leadership development programming.

Learning & Development – support the development of all employees by driving multiple learning channels, such as on-demand learning and customized training across EMEA and APAC.

Annual Talent Cycle – support the Performance Management Process and Talent Reviews within region.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
Experience Required:
Minimum 10 years of relevant Human Resources experience in a fast-paced environment and 7 years in Talent Development.
Proven in-depth experience in:

Designing and implementing talent development strategies in complex and global environments.

Hands-on L&D content creation and delivery.

Organizational development, with the ability to look at the bigger picture and design solutions that will drive long-term progress and change.

Change management at the individual, team and organization levels.

Project management of large-scale global initiatives with ambiguous parameters and diverse groups of stakeholders.

Be a strong communicator with extensive facilitation experience. This role will be high-profile and require the individual to be able to express ideas and messages in a clear and compelling manner to a variety of audiences and settings.

Be able to deliver feedback and difficult messages, as well as credibly challenge leaders or other senior team members on important issues.

Be able to build something from the ground up. This role will require a high degree of entrepreneurialism and someone who is comfortable executing and owning projects end-to-end.

Demonstrate comfort in leveraging data to inform strategic decisions and talent priorities.

Stay abreast of best practices in Talent Development.

Be flexible in terms of hours in order to coordinate with team members across various time zones.
