This senior level position will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies for the wealth channel across EMEA and APAC, with end-to-end ownership of go-to-market strategy, demand generation and client engagement for AWMS. This role will build and scale a multi-faceted regional wealth marketing function, consistent with global standards and governance, in partnership with U.S. AWMS leadership and various business stakeholders.
The successful candidate will combine strategic leadership with hands-on execution and stakeholder management, driving measurable business outcomes across channels and markets. We are seeking a candidate excited to refine and elevate a regional marketing function, with responsibilities including team development, channel strategy and localized go-to-market infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities- International Marketing Strategy & Growth: Define and lead the wealth marketing strategy across EMEA and APAC, aligned to AWMS business priorities and growth objectives and in close coordination with US leadership and Ares Corporate Communications. Identify and prioritize target markets, client segments and distribution opportunities to drive adoption across the wealth channel. Translate global strategy into regionally relevant plans that reflect local market dynamics, regulatory considerations and client needs.
- Go-to-Market & Demand Generation: Own end-to-end go-to-market strategy for products and solutions in international markets. Drive demand generation across channels, delivering measurable impact on client acquisition, engagement and pipeline growth. Partner with Product and Sales teams to refine value propositions, segmentation and messaging for financial advisors and their clients.
- Channel Strategy, Campaign Execution and Performance: Quarterback the development and execution of integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, web, paid, earned and events. Establish a data-driven approach to campaign planning and optimization, leveraging analytics and testing to improve ROI. Build and scale performance measurement frameworks and dashboards to track effectiveness, inform decision-making and drive accountability.
- Team Leadership & Capability Building: Lead and develop a 3-person marketing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. Define team structure and roles to support current needs and future growth. Coach and develop team members, strengthening core capabilities across product marketing, demand generation, and channel execution.
- Core Experience: 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership responsibility across international markets. Proven experience within asset management or financial services, with a strong understanding of private markets and the wealth management channel. Track record of building and scaling marketing functions, teams or regional capabilities. Deep understanding of international market dynamics, regulatory environments and cultural nuances.
- Functional Expertise: Deep wealth marketing experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies, demand generation programs and integrated marketing campaigns. Strong command of paid, owned and emerging media channels, with a data-driven approach to performance optimization. Experience in product marketing, including positioning and content strategy for complex investment solutions. Fluency in marketing analytics, Martech platforms and campaign measurement frameworks.
- Leadership & Influence: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams with a focus on coaching, accountability and capability building. Proven effectiveness operating in a matrixed, global organization with the ability to influence stakeholders across functions and regions; excited to build a business and shape the organization.
