Overview
We’re looking for a highly motivated Engineer with a broad skillset to join our Platform Infrastructure Team within the Systematic Credit group.
You will help build and maintain reliable physical and virtual services on which our systems operate.
Role
In this Platform Infrastructure role, you will be hands‑on and carry out a broad range of tasks ranging from desktop support and business continuity to database setup and development operations such as environment design and management.
This role requires strong collaboration and communication skills, working with teams across the firm and external vendors.
- Technical Responsibilities
- Enhance and support the technical infrastructure, including compute, storage, and network.
- Provide development‑operations (dev‑ops) capability in partnership with the broader Engineering team.
- Support outsourced and Saa S providers that deliver technical services, including cloud, desktop, and network.
- Maintain robust monitoring and response systems for firm infrastructure.
- Enhance and support on‑premises technology, primarily desktop and research infrastructure.
- Support due diligence with respect to IT platform.
Essential Requirements
- Experience with cloud services.
- Past use of automated delivery tooling and familiarity with Kubernetes.
- Experience with data onboarding and administration.
- Experience with Saa S vendors.
- A desire to be hands‑on in an entrepreneurial firm.
- Desired Qualifications and Experience
- Experience with CSPs such as AWS and Azure.
- Experience with information security.
- Ability to innovate and use new technologies to deliver value and drive progress.
- Education to degree level in Computer Science or a related field.
