Job Summary

This role focuses on investment and asset‑management responsibilities within Ares Secondaries’ real‑estate mandate (ARS X), covering Continental Europe and the UK with themes such as industrial/logistics, multifamily, student housing, data centres, and hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative due diligence on private equity real‑estate transactions, evaluating new investment opportunities through research of industries, asset classes, markets, and comparables.
  • Engage in diligence of fund sponsors and local operating partners, and develop financial models as part of an underwriting team.
  • Maintain financial models for asset‑management purposes.
  • Network with private‑equity real‑estate contacts through deal negotiations, due diligence activities, and industry conferences, as well as fund sponsor annual meetings.
  • Prepare presentations for investors, partner groups, and counterparties.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years’ experience in investment banking, private equity real estate, or private equity real‑estate advisory.
  • Strong financial analysis, writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a productive member of transaction teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, data analysis, or a related field (preferred).
