The Analyst will help evaluate, execute and manage equity investment opportunities that span all UK and European sectors and geographies. The position will be involved in every stage of the investment process, from deal sourcing and financial modeling to preparing investment committee materials, market research, and ongoing portfolio oversight. The Analyst will also interact extensively with investors and other stakeholders.
Primary Functions and Essential Responsibilities- Collaborate on a small deal team to analyze and execute real‑estate equity investments.
- Communicate with and report to all levels, from Associate to Partners.
- Perform extensive financial modelling and develop investment committee materials.
- Maintain research on geographic markets, property types and sectors.
- Participate in deal execution activities including deal screening, financial modelling, and due diligence.
- Support formulation of investment recommendations, preparation of investor materials (memos, ad‑hoc analysis, responses to investor requests).
- Provide strategic oversight, monitoring, reporting and management of new and existing investments.
- Interact with counterparties, lenders, investors, lawyers, consultants and other advisors.
- Education: University degree with strong performance from a top undergraduate institution.
- Experience: 1–3 years in investment banking, real‑estate private equity or real‑estate advisory focused on private equity.
- Skills: Strong financial analysis, modelling and valuation; Excel and PowerPoint expert; proficient with AI tools to support process efficiencies.
- Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills; ability to summarize thoughts concisely.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain focus on details.
- Experience with market and comparable analysis, site tours, broker and market expert engagement.
- Assessment of qualitative and quantitative characteristics of properties and investments.
- Fluency in one additional European language preferred.
