A team player who can also work well on their own
Somebody who wants to learn interesting facts about the racing surface/turf management
Someone who is flexible: work will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays
Reliable, enthusiastic and a positive attitude
Previous experience with grounds work, gardening or machinery is helpful – but not essential as you will join an experienced team who will show you the ropes
What You’ll Receive:
A chance to be part of an exciting environment at a racecourse
Varied and active work
Up to 10 race day passes to attend our venues
The chance to join a fast-paced company with possible chances of joining the permanent workforce and many more possibilities
Flexible hours to fit around other commitments
Training and support from experienced team members
The opportunity to work at major events and race days
What is casual work?
Casual work is a great solution as it enables you to work flexibly around other commitments in your life. There are usually a range of shifts available and opportunities for work are based on busy seasons and the annual racing calendar.
