Greenkeeper

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Greenkeeper to join our team at Lingfield Park Resort. As a Greenkeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our golf course and grounds. You will work within a dynamic team to ensure all playing surfaces and surrounding areas are kept in pristine condition and ready to welcome golfers and visitors throughout the year.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain all areas of the golf course and surroundings in line with best practices and company standards.
2. Manage and present fine turf areas (greens, tees, approaches) to the highest possible standard.
3. Assist in planning and implementing daily, weekly, and seasonal maintenance schedules.
4. Support construction and renovation work on course features such as bunkers, tees, and greens.
5. Ensure clubhouse surroundings, car parks, lawns, and public spaces are clean, tidy, and well presented.
6. Maintain flower beds, planters, and hanging baskets where required.
7. Operate and maintain turfcare machinery and equipment safely, following manufacturer guidelines.
8. Keep paths, roadways, and communal areas clean and free of rubbish.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in a golf course or sports turf environment.
• NVQ Level 3 in Turf Maintenance/Sports Turf Management (or equivalent) is desirable.
• Full UK driving license (clean).
• PA1, PA2A & PA6 spraying certificates are advantageous.
• Chainsaw qualifications are advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
