About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Warehouse & Depot Manager to lead our warehouse operations and drive efficiency, performance, and continuous improvement across the depot. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the effective management of warehouse resources, stock, people, and budgets while creating a collaborative, high-performing team culture. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in optimising warehouse utilisation, implementing best-practice warehouse management processes, and developing a unified team across all operational areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Warehouse Operational Efficiency
- Lead the day-to-day management of warehouse and depot operations, ensuring efficient and safe working practices.
- Drive improvements in warehouse utilisation, layout, and storage capacity to maximise operational effectiveness.
- Implement and continuously improve warehouse management systems, processes, and controls.
- Ensure resources, equipment, and labour are effectively planned and utilised to meet business demands.
- Identify and deliver opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost reduction.
- Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- People Leadership & Development
- Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse teams to create a positive, high-performance culture.
- Foster a "One Team" approach, encouraging collaboration across all warehouse operations rather than separate functional teams.
- Support skills development, succession planning, and ongoing training initiatives.
- Set clear objectives and performance expectations for team members.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive accountability and performance improvements.

- Budget & Cost Management
