We’re Hiring! Ready to take the lead in a fast-paced, operational environment and play a key role in delivering major projects and events?

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee daily operations of the yard and warehouse, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company standards
  • Lead, manage and develop Yard Team Leaders, Operatives, Drivers and Store personnel
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure products are delivered on time and to specification
  • Manage stock control, mobilisation and maintenance to minimise damage and reduce costs
  • Drive continuous improvement across yard operations, transport utilisation and processes
  • Manage administrative duties including schedules, timesheets and reporting
  • Work closely with internal teams including Planning, Transport, Projects and Site Management
  • Lead by example on Health & Safety, ensuring safe working practices at all times
  • Deliver regular team briefings and maintain clear communication across all functions

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience in logistics, warehouse or yard management
  • Proven experience leading and developing teams in an operational environment
  • Knowledge of stock control, transport planning and operational processes
  • Experience using ERP systems and confidence with Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritise, multitask and perform under pressure
  • A proactive, hands‑on leadership style with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-moving environment
  • A full, clean UK driving licence
  • Experience within the temporary infrastructure or events industry
  • IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification
