Are you a commercially minded estimator with a strong understanding of pricing, client needs, and project delivery? We’re looking for an Estimator to join our team and play a key role in supporting revenue growth through accurate, competitive estimations and excellent client support. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong commercial awareness and estimating experience to work across a wide range of event service solutions, helping to turn enquiries into commercially viable opportunities.

About The Role

As an Estimator, you’ll support the development of new and existing business by preparing detailed quotations, costings, and commercially sound proposals across a broad range of rental solutions. You’ll work closely with internal teams including sales, operations, projects, procurement, and technical services to ensure estimates are competitive, achievable, and aligned with delivery capabilities. You’ll also help maintain strong client relationships by responding to enquiries promptly, offering professional guidance, and contributing to winning proposals that support profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate, competitive estimates, quotations, and cost breakdowns across all commodities
  • Review client briefs, specifications, and project details to ensure all proposals are commercially viable and operationally achievable
  • Support the enquiry and quotation process from initial brief through to project handover
  • Work closely with sales, operations, procurement, and project teams to align estimates with resources, pricing, and delivery capabilities
  • Maintain accurate records of quotations, revisions, and client communications within the CRM system
  • Monitor supplier pricing, market trends, and competitor activity to keep proposals commercially competitive
  • Produce margin analysis, costing reports, and quotation data to support decision-making and profitability
  • Identify commercial risks and opportunities before quote submission
  • Build strong working relationships with both new and existing clients

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 5 years’ experience, ideally within events and/or industrial / non-event sales
  • Proven experience in commercial estimating and preparing accurate costings
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance competitiveness and profitability
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and contract management / CRM systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess project requirements and identify risks and opportunities
  • Proactive, self‑motivated, and opportunity-focused approach
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A full clean driving licence and valid passport are required, and overnight stays may be necessary when visiting client sites.
