The Role

As Assistant Financial Controller, you will report to the Regional Financial Controller. The assistant FC is responsible for the day-to-day running of the accounts department, effectively managing the sales and purchase ledgers alongside the daily revenue audit whilst maintaining cost control of payroll and monthly payroll processing. Working to strict deadlines for the production of accurate reports will involve flexibility, strong organisational skills and good communication.

Your attention to detail ensures that robust systems are in place to assist and measure other departments to meet their objectives in the financial operations of the hotel.

As Assistant Financial Controller, you will have previous accounts experience including income audit with sales and purchase ledger activity, preferably gained in a hotel environment. Excel and IT skills are essential; knowledge of Sage is desirable and an understanding of Opera and Micros would also be beneficial.
