Area Camden, an Ofsted-rated Outstanding and Good provider since 2013, is on the lookout for an experienced Registered Manager to lead our new solo children's home in London. Your Role and Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, safe, and nurturing care for children and young people.
- Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
- Lead staff practice and drive continuous improvement in line with Area Camden's standards.
- Maintain robust safeguarding systems and effective multi-agency working.
- Supervise and mentor staff, ensuring care plans and safeguarding procedures are implemented effectively.
What We’re Looking For
- A Leadership and Management qualification (or willingness to work towards one) and NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People.
- Strong knowledge of childcare and safeguarding, including relevant legislation and regulations.
- Experience in managing staff teams with excellent communication skills.
- A genuine passion for children's homes and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children and young people.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time role requiring 40 hours per week, with the Registered Manager managing their own rota and participating in the on-call rota.
