A Shift Supervisor position is the first step in Management within The Chesterford Group. It will involve working closely with the Management team to operate the store in accordance with our values and behaviours by preparing and cooking all our products whilst maintaining a high level of quality food and service. They are always responsible for the staff well-being when they are running a shift and are responsible for cash management, stock control and ordering, when needed. This role offers the successful candidate a fantastic start in working within our company and being able to grow and further your career, gaining more responsibility and developing into a true Fish and Chip SuperHero.
Your responsibilities will include supporting the preparation and cooking of all menu items, positive team management, health and safety, banking, security and hygiene. You will work closely with your stores management team to maximise store turnover and profitability in an ethical manner.
Main Responsibilities:- To prepare and cook all menu items in line with demand and to a high standard using a variety of equipment and tools in a fun, vibrant and busy kitchen environment.
- To assemble orders via liaising with your team for takeaway, click & collect via our 'My Chippy' app and delivery.
- Assisting Managers to prepare food.
- Supporting good food hygiene practices.
- To ensure all stock levels are correct and to liaise with Head Office.
- Store Management development on Sundays.
- An enthusiastic approach to deliver great service and a drive for customer satisfaction.
- Ability to manage a team.
- Willingness to learn and grow.
- Previous experience in a similar environment would be an advantage.
