Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Trainer to join our team and support the development of future early childhood professionals. This is an exciting opportunity for an industry professional who enjoys sharing knowledge, mentoring others, and making a meaningful impact. Working 2 to 3 days per week, you will deliver high-quality training and assessment to students undertaking Early Childhood qualifications. You will support learners through their studies, ensure compliance with training standards, and contribute to positive learning outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering engaging and compliant training and assessment
- Supporting and mentoring students throughout their learning journey
- Developing and maintaining training and assessment materials
- Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Ensuring all training meets regulatory and organisational standards
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Conducting workplace visits across the Wimmera region.
Skills And Experiences: To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or TAE40116)
- Certificate and/or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current work history in the Early Childhood Education sector
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and practices
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A supportive, professional, and student-focused approach
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other training tools
