Working alongside experienced PCV Engineers, you'll learn how to inspect, service, maintain and repair buses and coaches while working towards a recognised qualification in Heavy Goods and Public Service Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (SCQF Level 7) through GTG in Glasgow.
As your skills develop, you'll gain experience in:
- Routine vehicle servicing and maintenance
- Vehicle inspections and fault diagnosis
- Mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems
- Engine and gearbox removal and replacement
- Brake, steering and suspension systems
- Workshop safety procedures and industry standards
- Modern diagnostic equipment and repair techniques
No two days are the same, and you'll be supported every step of the way by experienced colleagues committed to helping you succeed.
