We are supporting a major Ministry of Justice (MoJ) expansion programme in Suffolk and are seeking an experienced Accredited Project Manager to join the delivery team on a large-scale, multi-year capital project. This is a significant development involving new facilities, modern infrastructure, and a major capacity increase across the estate.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will support the delivery of a complex construction programme, ensuring projects are managed effectively from planning through to completion. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, contractors, and the client team to drive progress, manage risk, and ensure compliance with NEC4 contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project delivery across a major MoJ capital programme
- Oversee planning, risk, cost, and programme performance
- Ensure compliance with NEC4 contract processes
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Produce reports, documentation, and project updates
- Support governance, assurance, and project controls activities
Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction or capital projects
- Strong understanding of NEC4 contracts (essential)
- APM - Accredited Project Manager
- Background in consultancy or public-sector project delivery
- Experience working on complex, multi-stakeholder programmes
- APM, Prince2 or similar project management qualification
- Based within 50 minutes of HMP Highpoint
