Overview: Our client is currently looking for experienced Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers to join their growing metering team across various locations throughout the UK. Key Responsibilities:
- Install and exchange gas and electric smart meters in domestic properties.
- Carry out all work safely and in line with industry regulations and company procedures.
- Conduct visual safety inspections and report unsafe situations where required.
- Provide excellent customer service and energy efficiency advice to customers.
- Complete all job documentation accurately using handheld devices.
- Manage daily workloads efficiently to meet appointment schedules and performance targets.
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and stock levels appropriately.
- Represent the business professionally at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months’ experience working as a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer.
- Valid MET1 qualification.
- Valid CMA1 and CCN1 qualifications.
- MOCOPA authorisation preferred.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
Desirable Qualifications:
- 3 Phase qualifications
- Medium Pressure qualifications
- Previous experience working on emergency or warrant appointments
