A current OS19X Sewer Condition Classification qualification is essential, along with proven experience in a similar role.

The Role

As a CCTV Survey Crew Leader, you will oversee a small site-based team responsible for surveying wastewater assets both above and below ground. You will ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and in line with client and industry standards. You will lead by example — maintaining high technical standards, ensuring health and safety compliance, and delivering excellent customer service.

  • Current OS19X Sewer Condition Classification qualification
  • Strong knowledge of public sewer networks and domestic drainage systems
  • Experience navigating drainage systems using GIS mapping
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Demonstrable reliability and flexibility

Desirable

  • Confined Spaces Certification
  • NRSWA Signing, Lighting & Guarding qualification
  • Experience working on highways and in wastewater environments

  • Travel to sites across the UK
  • Work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and overtime where required
  • Undertake manual handling, including lifting heavy inspection chamber covers
  • Work in confined spaces and on highways

Mandatory drug and alcohol testing applies to this role. A DBS check will also be undertaken.

About the Team

You will be part of a specialist Asset, Surveying and Inspection team delivering industry-leading services to the UK Water Industry. The wider team supports water networks, drainage, leakage consultancy, water resources, and efficiency programmes.
