Are you looking for an opportunity to make a real impact on the UK's strategic road network? We are supporting our client in the search for a Highways Technology Field Engineer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge roadside technology, helping to maintain and enhance the systems that keep millions of road users safe every day. From traffic signals and electronic signage to CCTV, communications infrastructure and intelligent transport systems, you'll play a vital role in ensuring critical technology assets remain operational, reliable and future-ready.
The primary depot for this role is Watford Gap Motorway Compound (M1 Junctions 16/17, NN6 7UZ). While the position is largely field-based and offers a high degree of autonomy, regular travel across the Area 7 network will be required.
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 42 hours per week, Monday to Friday

What You'll Be Doing:
- Maintaining, diagnosing and improving a wide range of roadside technology assets across the strategic road network.
- Carrying out reactive maintenance and fault repairs on highways technology equipment, including electronic signs, traffic signals, CCTV systems, emergency response systems, and more.
