The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for experienced Heating Engineers to join established regional teams covering Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket and the surrounding areas. These are field-based roles involving the servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repair of domestic heating and hot water systems across a range of properties within the social housing sector. With two opportunities available across the local area, salaries range from £42,000 to £48,160 per annum, depending on the location and working pattern. Both positions offer a company vehicle, fuel card, excellent benefits and opportunities for ongoing training and career development. The Role
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on domestic heating and hot water systems.
- Working across a variety of domestic properties throughout the local region.
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently, safely and to a high standard.
- Providing a professional and customer-focused service when dealing with residents and tenants.
- Keeping customers informed of work being carried out and providing clear updates on job progress.
- Completing all required paperwork and job records accurately, both electronically and manually.
- Following all Health & Safety requirements, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH procedures.
- Managing van stock and following parts ordering and auditing procedures to ensure the correct parts and equipment are available.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and compliance at all times.
