London and the South East have been designated as areas of Severe Water Stress by the UK Government. Reducing water consumption and supporting customers to use water more wisely is essential to protecting resources for future generations.
Working in partnership with our clients, we deliver Smarter Home Visits and Smarter Business Visits across London and the South East. As Area Manager, you will oversee the operational delivery of these programmes, managing the logistics, performance, and quality of work delivered by plumbers and advisors in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate field-based teams to ensure effective delivery of water efficiency visits
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients
- Supervise, motivate, and support teams to consistently meet performance targets and KPIs
- Monitor service delivery, quality, and compliance, producing clear reports where required
- Use MS Office 365 (or equivalent) tools to support communication, scheduling, reporting, and performance monitoring
- Identify and resolve operational issues efficiently and proactively
About You
You will be able to demonstrate:
- A strong track record in operational or area management
- Proven experience supervising and motivating teams to achieve targets
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong performance management capabilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
- The ability to thrive in a target-driven environment
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to be reasonably insured to drive for work purposes
