An exciting opportunity is on offer for a Java Developer (Backend) to work for a global technology business. The chosen Java Developer will be working with a talented team of engineers and testers.
As a Java Developer, you will have strong OO development and SQL (PL/SQL OR T-SQL) or Oracle experience. The role will give you the opportunity to work on a growing logistics platform used by clients worldwide. The chosen Java Developer will help improve the current software as well as mainly working on greenfield projects. Troubleshooting and installations will also occasionally be involved on client sites. Therefore, some travel to customer sites might be needed on occasion.
There is a huge opportunity for a Java Developer to progress quickly within this business and take ownership of large parts of the project. You will have experience of working in unit testing and agile environments also. Any skills in Oracle 11g databases would be a plus.
