About The Role

Ardoq is scaling fast, and our people need to grow with us. This contract role exists because we have a real, meaningful L&D agenda to deliver—one that goes well beyond deploying e-learning modules. You will own it end-to-end: diagnosing needs, designing the right interventions, and delivering them in ways that stick. The most strategically important piece of this agenda is building AI capability across our employee population. We are an AI-native product company, and we need our people to work that way too. You will lead on designing and rolling out a practical AI learning programme that moves Ardoqians from awareness to genuine fluency—shaping how we work, not just what tools we use. At Ardoq, we value autonomy and psychological safety. In this role, you will not just follow a brief; you will consult, shape, and deliver with real ownership.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the AI capability build: Lead the design and delivery of an AI learning programme across all functions - assessing current literacy, identifying priority gaps, building the curriculum, and rolling it out through workshops, resources, and self-serve content on Sana.
  • Consult before you design: Work closely with People Business Partners, senior stakeholders, and the Director of People & Organisation to diagnose the real learning needs before building anything. The brief will evolve; your job is to shape it.
  • Run the onboarding programme: Own and facilitate end-to-end onboarding for all new joiners globally - virtual and in-person - while continuously improving the experience based on feedback.
  • Deliver the Manager 101 programme: Design and run a first-time manager programme tailored to Ardoq’s culture and growth stage - building capability, not just running sessions.
  • Support performance culture: Execute on key processes that drive a performance culture (such as including performance reviews, engagement survey follow-ups and goal setting) and work with the Director of People to design how these processes need to evolve as the business scales.
  • Manage our learning vendors: Serve as the day-to-day contact for Sana and Hone - keeping content current, managing access, and ensuring platform usage delivers value.
  • Build a culture of feedback and recognition: Lead on designing and embedding opportunities for recognition and feedback across the business that connect to our values.

On a typical day, you will:

  • Run a kick-off session with a senior stakeholder to understand what a team actually needs before designing a learning intervention.
  • Facilitate a Manager 101 session in the morning and spend the afternoon iterating on the AI learning curriculum based on feedback from the first cohort.
  • Check in with the Sana platform, respond to a learning request from the business, and close the day with a debrief with Katie on the Recognition Culture roadmap.

Who You Are

We are looking for a skilled L&D practitioner who leads with curiosity and delivers with rigor.

The Consultant: You approach every engagement by understanding the problem first. You ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and build interventions that fit—not generic programmes you have run elsewhere.

The AI Practitioner: You have hands-on experience building AI capability inside an organisation. You know the difference between a one-off workshop and a learning journey that actually changes how people work.

The SaaS Insider: You have worked in a fast-scaling tech or SaaS environment and understand the pace, ambiguity, and commercial context that comes with it.

The Deliverer: You design with the end in mind and follow through to execution. You measure success by behaviour change and impact, not completion rates.

Nice to Haves:

  • Leadership development experience
  • Familiarity with Sana as an LMS
  • Global L&D experience across multiple regions and cultures

The Ardoq Way

  • Bold: We continuously raise the bar for ourselves and each other, starting from a place of what if I could? We act decisively, even when the information isn’t complete, and choose forward motion and learning over waiting for the perfect answer.
  • Caring: We care enough to be candid. That means delivering direct, kind, and timely feedback that helps our teammates grow. We operate as one team - sharing knowledge openly, celebrating each other’s wins, and putting collective success ahead of individual ones.
  • Driven: At Ardoq, everyone has a stake in the outcome - including stock options. We act like owners: measuring success by impact rather than effort, saying no to distractions, and staying focused on the highest-value work at pace.
