Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts within Ardonagh Specialty across all ASL brands.
- Investigate and allocate cash, perform credit control, process payments (claims and return premiums).
- Produce accurate and timely management information to support ledger performance.
- Ensure debts are collected promptly and liabilities are settled within agreed terms.
- Match cash receipts promptly and ensure timely, accurate processes.
- Maintain up-to-date accounting ledgers and comprehensive records.
- Provide regular and ad hoc management information.
- Coordinate with other departments regarding outstanding queries, especially cash queries.
- Chase outstanding cash under query with clients/underwriters on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and despatch statements of accounts as required.
- Maintain accurate records accessible to required parties.
- Monitor client money payments to intermediary placing brokers.
- Identify potential bad debts early and involve the appropriate colleagues.
- Undertake other duties, ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned.
- Keep records of all communications.
- Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support project success.
- Ensure compliance with group policies and procedures, including FCA CASS 5 Client Money Rules.
- Complete training and assessments as required by Compliance and Training.
