Ardo serves its clients globally in the Retail, Foodservice, and Industry segments. We are currently seeking a Key Account Manager Retail to manage key accounts in the UK market. In this role you are part of Ardo’s global sales organisation, reporting to the Group Sales Director Retail, and operating from our Sales Office in Ashford.
Account management & customer relations
- You achieve sales targets in terms of turnover, and profitability.
- You lead price negotiations and secure sales agreements, with a focus on annual contracts.
- You introduce new products and innovative applications to your existing client relations.
- You optimise the product portfolio in line with profitability and commercial KPIs.
- You address and resolve customer complaints in a proactive and efficient manner.
- You think about solutions for Private Label for retail from a production and packaging point of view.
- Develop and execute sales strategy and analytics to drive revenue growth and inform data-driven decision‑making.
- You monitor, forecast, and report on sales performance, budgets, and market potential.
- You analyse customer data to identify sales opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and build strategic networks to support business objectives and foster collaboration.
- You work closely with both national and international teams across different functions within Ardo.
- You build and nurture strong long‑term relationships with key retail customers and with their decision‑makers and stakeholders (purchasers, marketing, R&D).
Your profile
- You hold a master’s degree in business economics, or a similar field.
- You have a successful track record of international B‑B sales in the retail sector.
- You are familiar with data tools like BI cubes and Power BI.
- You are on top of industry trends and market developments in the food sector.
- You excel in communication skills: you’re confident, clear, and able to influence others with ease.
- Above all, you are hands on with a passion for food and agro and an interest in related production and packaging.
