The Project:


We’re reshaping the Kensington skyline with West Cromwell Road – a bold new development delivering 462 contemporary homes across seven architecturally striking buildings, including a dramatic 33-storey tower – one of the tallest in the borough.



The Role:


You will play a key role in driving delivery of the project maintaining tight coordination of works between all internal and external delivery partners alongside the Project Manager and Project Director.



You Will:


  • Drive all construction related activities onsite through managing direct and indirect construction persons/teams.
  • Hold weekly documented meetings with Ardmore and subcontractor management using an agreed agenda.
  • Address site challenges promptly, offering feedback to Project Managers regarding any issues or shortcomings encountered, and propose creative solutions to enhance existing methodologies. ]
  • Foster effective communication within the project team, overseeing construction supervisors, students, or trainees as necessary. This entails briefing, delegating tasks, providing supervision, conducting performance evaluations, and supporting developmental needs.
  • Regularly inspect works for compliance with design ,ensure all design solutions offered by designers and sub-contractors fully comply with the project documentation.
  • Responsible for all aspects of Health & Safety on site. Ensure our weekly site safety, health and welfare inspection report issues are taken care of in a timely fashion
  • Logistic Planning – Deliveries (Concrete Wagons, Rebar Deliveries, Concrete Pump, Muck-away, ACL Deliveries, Plant Deliveries, Visitors, Sub-Contract Deliveries)
  • Report on project progress on a regular basis.



Were Looking For:


  • Experience as a Senior/Construction Manager on similar size and type of build projects.
  • Experience managing and leading teams on major building projects.
  • Experience of delivering and overseeing all elements of the job from groundworks, piling to sub & super structure construction through to project handover.
  • Significant site based managerial experience and ideally management of internal and external(sub-contractor) delivery teams
  • Knowledge of Building Regulations
  • Be in possession of a current Managers CSCS card and other relevant qualifications including SMSTS
