To build on our recent successes and project wins we are looking for an experienced Fit Out/Finishing Managers for our project based in North London.
We’re seeking a Fit Out Manager with strong experience in high-quality finishes, who will also take on key responsibilities as a Finishing Manager to ensure exceptional delivery from structure through to final handover.
Main Responsibilities:
- Follow the fit-out sequence organising labour and materials to deliver in accordance with the fitout programme.
- Resolve day to day issues on site in a timely amicable and efficient manner to ensure the programme is maintained. Plan works accordingly to tie in line with the programme and drive labour force to work at maximum capacity while onsite but at high quality.
- Manage the subcontractors time effectively knowing when and where materials are needed.
- Ensure that work is built in accordance with the latest specs and construction issue drawings.
- Snag units on a daily basis and issue snag & QA sheets to the relevant subcontractor on a daily basis.
- Carrying out quality assurance checks on the works as it progresses ensuring correct spec, sufficiently installed, within tolerances, compliant with requirements, issuing corrective notices/ non-conformances for rectification and ensuring this is carried out.
We\'re Looking For:
- Proven experience overseeing and managing relevant trades from residential build projects from 1st fix to handover.
- Knowledge of NHBC Standards and Building Regulations including Part B
- Trade background and experience in a similar position with a main contractor (ideal)
- Experience of Grade listed buildings is highly desirable.
- Ability to use 4 Projects(EDMS) and Field view (QA)
- NVQ Level 6 in Construction management or equivalent
- CSCS black card management level
- SMSTS
