The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Manager to lead the delivery of electrical packages on complex new build and cut & carve projects. You will manage electrical subcontractors, programme, procurement, quality and safety, ensuring works are delivered safely, to specification, on programme and within budget.
The Project:
Cambridge House is a prestigious Grade I listed redevelopment in Piccadilly, transforming the former βIn and Outβ Club into a 102-key luxury hotel with seven super-prime residences. The project combines complex cut-and-carve works, heritage restoration and high-end new build elements.
You Will:
- Manage a team to coordinate electrical subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, to specification, on programme and within agreed budgets.
- Plan, monitor and control the electrical programme, coordinating daily with construction, mechanical and design teams to achieve project milestones.
- Manage procurement and materials, including identification of long-lead items, logistics planning and coordination of site deliveries.
- Ensure the highest standards of quality assurance, inspecting and signing off electrical installations in line with drawings, specifications, NHBC and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate temporary power, testing, commissioning and all interfaces with DNOs and utility providers.
- Promote and enforce health, safety and environmental standards, ensuring full compliance with company procedures, RAMS and safe systems of work.
- Lead progress meetings with subcontractors, manage performance, and provide clear, structured reporting on progress, risks and mitigation to the Project Manager.
Weβre Looking For:
- Proven experience delivering full electrical packages on new build or cut & carve projects
- Experience leading electrical managers and supervisors
- Strong programme management and coordination skills
- Experience overseeing subcontractors, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and managing timelines
- SMSTS
- Level 3 City & Guilds Electrical Qualification/18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- OR Relevant Degree or Building Services qualification in Mechanical or Electrical.
- Practical knowledge of Fieldview and 4 Projects
- Knowledge of current legislation: Health and Safety requirements, building regulations, NHBC site specific requirement
