Currently we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Manager to join our team and oversee the mechanical installation for a high-profile projects within London. If you\’re a proactive, solution-driven professional with extensive experience in managing mechanical systems and ensuring compliance with industry standards, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities: * Project Familiarisation: Review project programmes, specifications, and drawings to ensure full understanding of scope and requirements. * Sub-contractor Management: Oversee sub-contractors, ensuring competency, contract compliance, and timely material ordering. * Work Allocation & Monitoring: Allocate tasks to sub-contractors, monitor progress, and ensure quality control and safety on-site. * Compliance & Standards: Ensure all mechanical installations meet relevant legislation and industry standards. * Quality Assurance: Maintain QA documentation, ensuring all works are photographed and signed off accordingly. * Mechanical Systems Oversight: Manage the installation of a variety of mechanical systems, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and minimal costs. * Safety & Compliance: Deliver toolbox talks, address unsafe practices, and ensure safety compliance throughout the project. * Progress Reporting: Manage project progress, update the programme, and lead weekly meetings with stakeholders. Key Skills & Experience: * Proven experience as a Mechanical Construction Manager within a Tier 1 main contractor or building services contractor. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, water treatment, and more. * In-depth understanding of regulations, including WRAS, NHBC, Thames Water, and Health & Safety. * Proiciency in using 4Projects and other project management tools. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
