The role:
Looking to build a career at the heart of major construction handovers? This is your chance to step into a critical role that bridges project delivery and operational success. As a Trainee Handover Coordinator, you’ll play a key part in ensuring high-quality Operations & Maintenance and business handover documentation is delivered accurately, compliantly and on time. Working alongside experienced Business Handover and Document Control professionals, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to live projects, industry standards and best-practice processes—setting you up for long-term growth in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
You Will:
- Support the preparation, collation, checking and handover of O&M manuals and project handover documentation
- Maintain accurate document registers, version control and filing within document management systems
- Apply approved templates, checklists and workflows to ensure consistency, quality and compliance
- Review documentation to identify gaps, inconsistencies and non-compliance with internal and contractual standards
- Assist with audits, lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance documentation quality and efficiency
- Support training activities and engage in ongoing development related to handover processes, standards and systems
We’re looking For:
- Educated to vocational qualification or similar.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Competent in Microsoft Office
