About the Job
Ardmac are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial and surveying aspects of a major high value industrial project located in Somerset.
Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Overall financial, contractual and legal contract of the project.
- Working on basis of strong knowledge and understanding of our obligations under the Contract.
- Preparation of contract budget.
- Administration of Contract Records.
- Attendance at meetings such as contract handover meeting.
- Measurement and valuation.
- Production of Loss and Expense claims with Surveying Manager / Commercial Director.
- Production and agreement of Final Accounts.
- Form Relationship with PQS/Client/consultants/Supply Chain.
- Development and mentoring of commercial staff within the project team.

- BSc in Quantity Surveying.
- Ability and knowledge of construction methods and technology.
- Knowledge & understanding of measurement, valuation, claims, loss & expense.
