Ardingly College has an exciting opportunity for watersports instructors to join the Ardingly Activity Centre. The Activity Centre is a busy reservoir-based multi-activity centre set in a picturesque 240 acres of British countryside.
The role consists of providing sailing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and windsurfing training whilst also providing a front of house presence for public hire activities to most ages and abilities.
This would suit someone looking for casual hours during half-terms, Easter and Summer, with the potential to continue on as required.
We are currently looking to recruit enthusiastic and capable instructors and senior instructors to join our friendly expanding team. The ideal candidate will have experience working at an outdoor activity centre or similar and have the required qualifications to instruct any of the above roles. They should have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, flexibility and the ability to work under pressure are also key skills for this role.
Hours of Work: Season work: April – October. Flexibility is required. No fixed hours.
Flexibility required, including working school holidays, day time, weekends and evenings throughout April – October. There will potentially be opportunities for work during term-time and all-year – course dependant.
Rate of Pay: Bank Staff (£12/hr), £14/hr Multi-Qualified Instructor, £16/hr SI’s
