Job Purpose: The Investor Relations department including more than 120 professionals oversees fundraising activities across all Ardian’s asset classes and manages investor relationships. It is structured around three main sub-teams: Sales, Product Management and Client Solutions. The job opening is for a strategic position working closely with the global Head and the COO of the IR team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing department in a leading private equity firm.
- Fundraising materials management
- Contribute to the production of the Investor Relations Fundraising materials for the weekly Team Meeting (120 people+ meeting involving Global Head and COO of IR and Heads of different expertise).
- Reporting to the Executive Committee
- Produce the global Executive Committee presentation (Sales Committee) on a monthly basis;
- Ensure the whole process is well anticipated, smoothly managed and sent on time to Legal.
- Regularly update all corporate related documents.
- Support the IR Global Head and COO on strategic requests
- Contribute to the production of ad hoc fundraising and reporting documents;
- Assist in the organization of meetings and events;
- Contribute to the production of fundraising statistics.
Secondary Sales coordination: Acts as the key Ardian contact for secondary sales of Ardian funds with external and internal stakeholders; Manage the secondary sales process by coordinating with the various teams involved, ensuring targeted deadlines are met;
Profile: Excellent academic qualifications with relevant coursework from a leading university or business school; Fluent in English; A first internship in a similar role or fast-paced environment.
Required Skills: Organized, detail-oriented, rigorous and energetic; Eager to learn; Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Team spirit and very good communication skills; Driven and highly motivated; Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative working relationships with a high number of people and teams and interact with senior levels of the firm; Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines with the flexibility for extended hours when necessary; Ability to work independently and resolve problems; Capacity to discretely handle highly confidential and sensitive information; Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
Regulatory Responsibilities: This section will be reserved for the London office offers. Depending on the role only one of the three rules will apply: Conduct Rule Staff. Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements applicable to the role. Understand the Individual Conduct Rules set out by the UK Regulator and ensure compliance in letter and in spirit.
