Job Purpose: ARDIAN’s Co-Investment team is offering an internship opportunity in the London office to assist the daily work of private equity investment professionals, particularly including the identification, analysis and execution of investments. The candidate will have significant responsibilities from day one and become an integral part of the team, with high levels of interaction with investment professionals from the Co-Investment team, support functions and external industry experts.

- Work alongside top GPs on flagship deals across industries, geographies, deal sizes (from small to ultra large cap), and asset classes (PE, SACV, Infrastructure)
- Develop fast critical thinking thanks to strong and high quality dealflow
- Gain in-depth understanding of the underlying mechanics of the private equity ecosystem, from investing to fundraising and LP/GP relationships
- Benefit from deep exposure and autonomy across a diversified set of tasks (investment, reporting, fundraising). On average, interns work on at least 2-3 deals going to IC during their tenure
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in the investment process (including drafting the investment memorandum and reviewing due diligence work performed in various areas)
- Participate in the assessment of investment opportunities (business analysis, company valuation, LBO modelling, research of comparables, etc.)
- Collect and analyse information on target companies, competitors and business sectors.
- Participation in team meetings and investment committees and helping run the administrative processes for these
- Support monitoring for current ARDIAN portfolio companies
- A variety of other ad hoc day to day tasks.

Specialised business and technical knowledge:
- Broad set of quantitative, qualitative and interpersonal skills (strong team player)
- Intellectual rigor and discipline; ability to organize and perform work efficiently
- Excellent analytical skills, with high level of attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, financial modelling, valuation
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Education and Experience:
- Degree either completed or due to complete from leading business school or university
- Excellent academic background
- French and English fluency
- At least one previous internship in one of the following areas is beneficial:
- Private Equity
- Investment Banking (M&A, Leveraged Finance)
- Transaction Services
- Strategy Consulting
Regulatory Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements applicable to the role
- Understand the Individual Conduct Rules set out by the UK Regulator and ensure compliance in letter and in spirit
