Receptionist / Front of House – Part Time – Ardeta Search are partnering with The Sheffield Clinic of Complementary Medicine, a long-established centre for integrated health and wellbeing, who are looking for a warm, professional, and organised Receptionist / Front of House to join their friendly team.
The clinic has been supporting the Sheffield community for over 40 years, bringing together skilled practitioners across acupuncture, chiropractic, physiotherapy, nutrition, reflexology, massage therapy, and more. We’re now seeking someone who will help us deliver an exceptional front-of-house experience for our patients and practitioners alike.

About the Role
As the first point of contact for patients, you’ll play a vital role in creating a calm, welcoming, and professional atmosphere. You’ll ensure the smooth running of reception and support the wider clinical team with day-to-day administrative duties.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering excellent service, and feels at home in a busy, friendly, and professional healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and check in patients, ensuring every visitor feels comfortable and cared for.
- Manage appointment bookings and follow-ups using our online booking system.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient notes and records.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries.
- Support practitioners with scheduling, paperwork, and room coordination.
- Order and manage stock, clinic supplies, and essential items.
- Prepare daily and weekly appointment schedules and ensure the clinic runs smoothly.
About You
- Warm, approachable, and professional in both manner and appearance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — you genuinely enjoy engaging with people.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and online booking systems.
- Organised and reliable, with great attention to detail.
- Able to remain calm and efficient in a busy environment.
- Experience in a receptionist, administrative, or front-of-house role (healthcare or wellbeing background preferred but not essential).
- A caring nature and interest in health, wellness, or complementary medicine.
