A leading international energy storage developer and asset owner is looking for a Project Manager to lead the delivery of utility-scale BESS projects across Europe, with an immediate focus on Poland. This is a client-side role, you'll be the owner's representative, holding EPC contractors, grid operators, and consultants to account from acquisition through to commissioning and operation.
You'll own the full construction delivery cycle — programme, budget, risk, stakeholder management, and the EPC take-over process. Interfacing directly with Polish grid operators, permitting authorities, and contractors is central to the position, so fluency in Polish is a genuine requirement.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record delivering utility-scale energy or power sector projects in a PM, construction manager, or owner's engineer capacity. Hands-on BESS experience is important as you'll need to understand the technology, the hazards, and what a smooth commissioning process looks like.
HV connections and grid code compliance experience in the UK or Europe is expected, alongside solid commercial grounding in contracts, variation orders, and risk allocation. Backgrounds from development, IPP, or EPC side are all considered. Fluency in both English and Polish is essential.
