Role Purpose: The Senior Surveyor provides land assembly, compensation and valuation advice for major projects. Key responsibilities include delivering strategic compensation advice, risk mitigation in land acquisition, and stakeholder engagement to secure consents, settle claims, and negotiate agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trusted Advisor: Offer specialist technical input, particularly around compensation and compulsory purchase legislation.
- Project Management: Lead and manage projects, ensuring efficient and compliant resolution of claims and securing land.
- Negotiations: Conduct and lead negotiations with landowners, clients, and stakeholders to facilitate land acquisition and settle compensation claims.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain high standards of engagement and strategic advice, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Valuation Accuracy: Ensure the accurate management of valuations and Property Cost Estimates.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering their development and aligning them with Ardent’s values.
