A leading international law firm is seeking an incentives lawyer to join its top ranked (both Legal 500 and Chambers) incentives practice as a part-time Knowledge Lawyer on a 3 day a week basis. The position focuses on providing technical and strategic knowledge support to the high-profile incentives team advising on complex and market-leading matters.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and analysing legal and regulatory developments
- Maintaining and developing knowhow and precedents
- Supporting training programmes
- Contributing to thought leadership and client-facing materials
The role also involves collaboration with fee earners across different seniority levels, supporting the existing incentives knowledge counsel and working with other knowledge teams across the firm.
The successful candidate will have two to four years post-qualification experience in employee incentives and remuneration matters, with exposure to areas such as share plans, executive remuneration, management incentive arrangements, employee benefit trusts and the impact of corporate transactions on incentives. Strong drafting and analytical skills, an interest in technical excellence, and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly are essential.
