We have a longstanding track record of supporting pensions solicitors at every stage of their careers, from newly qualified roles through to partner moves. Already this year, we have assisted a number of trainee solicitors in securing NQ pensions positions across London and key regional cities. We are now delighted to be partnering exclusively with a well‑known international firm on the hire of a newly qualified pensions solicitor. We have worked closely with this team for many years, supporting recruitment at a variety of levels, and know first‑hand the quality of work, training and progression they offer.

If you are a trainee solicitor considering a move into pensions, we would welcome a confidential discussion about this opportunity. The role sits within a highly regarded pensions group advising employers, trustees and financial institutions on the full spectrum of occupational pension scheme matters. The team also supports multinational corporates on pensions issues arising in cross‑border transactions.

Work includes general advisory support on DB and DC schemes, de‑risking and liability management exercises (including buy‑ins, buy‑outs and longevity swaps), scheme funding strategies such as bespoke funding structures and security arrangements, and pensions input on corporate and finance transactions, M&A, capital raisings and restructurings.

As a specialist pensions recruiter, we provide clear, informed advice on the evolving private practice landscape and offer a comprehensive overview of opportunities across the City. Many of these roles are off‑market, reflecting the strength of our relationships and the preference of partners to take a discreet, targeted approach to team growth.

If you would like more information about this position or would value a confidential conversation about the broader market, please get in touch.
