Role Purpose: As a Bid Manager, you'll lead and deliver high-quality, compliant, and compelling bids across public and private sectors. Working closely with the Bid Writer and various internal teams, you'll ensure our submissions clearly articulate Ardent’s value proposition, technical capability, and differentiators to support our growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Bid Development: Collaborate with the Bid Writer to create persuasive, client-focused responses tailored to evaluation criteria.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure all submissions meet quality, branding, and governance standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with Sector Leads, Corporate Services, and subject matter experts to gather information and develop bid strategies.
- Bid Review Coordination: Facilitate bid review meetings for stakeholder input and issue resolution.
- Competitive Pricing: Develop competitive pricing strategies with Sector Leads, Managing Directors, and Finance team.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure bid documents and graphics align with our brand.
- Legal & Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate with General Counsel and Operations team to meet all requirements.
- Bid Performance Tracking: Monitor bid metrics, conduct post-bid reviews, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Industry Insight: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in bid management.
Skills & Experience:
- Bid Management Experience: Proven success in managing and winning complex bids.
- Proposal Writing: Strong understanding of the bid lifecycle and effective proposal writing.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with bid management software and MS Office.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in bid preparation and review.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work with and influence stakeholders at various levels.
- Project Management: Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities to assess bid opportunities and develop winning strategies.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to present complex information clearly.
