A leading construction and projects practice is seeking a senior associate to join its London team, focusing on front-end, non-contentious construction work. The role involves advising on a wide range of domestic and international projects, including procurement strategies and the drafting and negotiation of construction and engineering documentation.
Work will cover building contracts, consultants’ appointments, collateral warranties, third-party rights and security documents. Clients include contractors, developers, employers, investors, operators and insurers across multiple industry sectors.
The successful candidate will have solid experience in non-contentious construction matters gained in private practice and/or in-house, and will be comfortable taking a lead role on transactions and advising clients directly. International project experience and an interest in business development would be advantageous, but are not essential.
The role offers high-quality project work, exposure to complex and innovative matters, and the opportunity to develop within a well-established and collaborative construction team.
