We are looking for a CAD Engineer to join our Technical team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced CAD professional to play a key role in supporting product design, development, and manufacturing through the creation and maintenance of accurate 2D and 3D models, technical drawings, and associated documentation. About The Role

As CAD Engineer, you will be responsible for producing detailed CAD drawings and models for components and assemblies, ensuring designs are fully defined, manufacturable, and controlled throughout the product lifecycle. You will manage CAD data, revisions, and workflows, while working closely with internal teams to support technical queries, product development, and manufacturing requirements. You will also contribute to the preparation of technical and marketing materials to support customer engagement and internal communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models using SolidWorks
  • Maintain technical drawings, BOMs, and associated documentation
  • Manage CAD data, revisions, and workflows using SolidWorks PDM
  • Support product development, prototype work, and technical queries
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, production, quality, and sales teams

About You

  • Experienced in a CAD role within manufacturing or engineering
  • Strong SolidWorks skills
  • Organised, accurate, and detail-focused
  • Able to work independently and as part of a wider team
  • Automotive industry experience would be an advantage

Qualifications

HNC, HND, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
