About the Role

We are seeking an Associate to join our Land Assembly – Renewables team. This role will see you working as a Project Account Manager, supporting the Project Director in the delivery of high-profile renewable energy projects.

You’ll take on a varied workload – from managing agreements and compensation claims to serving statutory notices and providing strategic land advice – ensuring our clients’ projects progress smoothly from development through construction and into operation.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to step into a leadership position, develop technical expertise, and play a key role in shaping the future of our renewables projects.

What You’ll Do

  • Support project delivery through land referencing, agreement management and payments.
  • Manage compensation claims for landowners and occupiers during construction.
  • Serve statutory notices including Temporary Possession and GVD notices.
  • Provide strategic land and risk advice throughout project lifecycles.
  • Manage land costs, budgets and financial forecasting.
  • Prepare bespoke licences and agreements in collaboration with legal teams.
  • Contribute to tender submissions and project bids.
  • Support client negotiations and provide expert witness reports when required.

About You

  • Strong knowledge of compensation frameworks, CPO/DCO processes and stakeholder negotiation.
  • Experience engaging with landowners and resolving compensation/land rights matters.
  • Ability to advise on compulsory purchase and acquisition processes.
  • Skilled in valuations, appraisals, and preparing fee budgets.
  • Confident preparing reports and providing evidence at inquiries or hearings.
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to contribute to tenders and secure new work.
