Type: Temporary / Full Time
Ardent Social is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Social Worker / Advanced Practitioner to join the Intervention & Planning Team within Family Services in Barnet.
This is a long-term team working with Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP) and court work. The successful candidate will bring relevant experience across these areas and be confident working within a statutory children's social care environment.
What you will do
- This is a hybrid role, with 1-2 days per week in the office at Colindale, Barnet.
- Work within the Intervention & Planning Team across CIN and Child Protection cases.
- Undertake work relating to court proceedings and associated statutory responsibilities.
- Support effective intervention and planning for children and families.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and relevant professionals to support positive outcomes.
- Maintain high standards of professional practice and case management.
What you will need
- Relevant experience working with CIN and Child Protection.
- Experience of court work within a children's social care setting.
- Strong communication and professional relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a long-term statutory social work team.
