Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager – Adult Social Care

Salary: £29.08 PAYE, £38.06 Limited/Umbrella Per Hour
Type: Temporary / Full Time

We are seeking an experienced Social Work Manager to join the Practice Assurance Team within Adult Social Care. The role will support the delivery of the annual quality assurance programme, implementation of the quality assurance framework and audit activity to monitor and improve the quality of services provided to adults and careers.

You will coordinate quality and performance monitoring activities, undertake case file audits and practice reviews, analyze data and identify themes for learning, practice development and service improvement.

The role will also involve supporting the Principal Social Worker with best practice development, reflective learning and training, as well as leading quality improvement projects relating to adult social care, safeguarding and social work practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver the Adult Social Care annual quality assurance audit programme.




• Coordinate quality and performance monitoring activities across Adult Services.




• Undertake case file audits, practice reviews and observations.




• Analyze quality assurance data and identify themes for learning and service improvement.




• Produce reports for senior management and relevant quality assurance forums.




• Support the development of best practice and facilitate training workshops and reflective learning forums.




• Lead quality improvement projects relating to adult social care, safeguarding and social work intervention.




• Manage project planning, delivery, monitoring, risks, issues and reporting.




• Supervise project team members and manage resources assigned to projects.




• Undertake specific case file audits and individual reviews where required, including matters relating to safeguarding, complaints, Ombudsman reports or safeguarding appeals.




• Work collaboratively with internal teams, service users, careers, partner organizations and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Professional Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.




• Experienced Social Work Manager with experience in Adult Social Care.




• Experience in quality assurance, practice improvement or a similar role.




• Experience managing and supervising staff.




• Experience managing change or social care projects.




• Knowledge of Adult Social Care legislation, policy, guidance and best practice.




• Knowledge of quality assurance mechanisms and safeguarding adults.




• Experience of working with safeguarding adults enquiries.




• Ability to manage complex projects, workloads, risks and competing priorities.




• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data.




• Strong written and verbal communication skills.




• Ability to build effective working relationships and influence colleagues and managers to improve practice.




• Understanding of programme and project management frameworks.




• Commitment to continuous professional development.
