As Head Chef at The Hound in Chiswick, you'll lead the kitchen in delivering consistently high-quality, innovative pub dishes and seasonal specials. Working closely with the Group Executive Chef, you'll play a key role in menu development and take full responsibility for the day-to-day kitchen operation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a kitchen team with a strong focus on quality, seasonality, trends, and produce
  • Develop and refine menus in collaboration with the Group Executive Chef
  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations including rotas, purchasing, and menu costing
  • Ensure health and safety compliance and maintain high standards of food hygiene
  • Manage costs and optimize staffing to support business goals
  • Provide training, coaching, and motivation to staff to deliver consistent, high-quality dishes

A typical working week may include 5 days with a mix of single and double shifts; shift patterns may vary depending on business needs.
