We are ambitious – and keen to hear from determined and motivated people like you, who are interested in developing their environmental experiences. We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Environmental Advisor to join our team in Maidstone, (ME16 9NT). Supporting the delivery of environmental excellence in the business; providing environmental advice and education, assuring regulatory compliance, and promoting environmental innovation to deliver sustainable growth.

Here are some of the activities you will get involved with:

  • Support the production of environmental assessments and management plans in line with the environmental management system.
  • Monitor, analyse and report on environmental performance to the business and to clients where appropriate.
  • Assist in environmental incident management supporting the E&S team in responding to and investigating incidents and near misses.
  • Carry out inspections and audits of our facilities, sites, and projects to ensure compliance with ISO 14001, permits and environmental legislation.
  • Assist in promoting a positive environmental culture and the delivery of environmental awareness training.
  • Aid with the implementation of business environmental and sustainability initiatives, plans and strategies.

We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • A full and valid manual UK driving licence.
  • A relevant degree in environmental discipline or equivalent experience in an applicable environmental role are essential.
  • The capability to understand environmental plans, reports and environmental data.
  • Some previous experience within the industry, through either an internship or summer work placement etc. is preferable.
